We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

CSS & table not formatting for users

    Hi there

I've had some people say that my wpDataTables looks "confusing",  and have just discovered that if a user isn't logged into the website the wpDataTables doesn't have any CSS or table formatting, it is all just text on a screen.  But when you do log into the site the table will disaply with CSS formatting and it will look fine.

Does anyone know what will cause this?

    Thanks

    Kahl

    Hi again

I really need some help with this one.  I think what's happening is the required wpdatatables scripts aren't being loaded unless the user logs in.  Is there a setting somewhere I need to change to fix this?

    Hi, Kahlil

Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

    -

wpDataTables is a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) concept-based plugin. This means that the table should look the same both in the back-end and in the front-end. If your front-end table looks and behaves differently than in the back-end, this usually implies that there is another plugin (or the current theme) that's changing the behavior of our plugin.

Can you please change the theme and see if the issue is resolved? If not, then please deactivate all other plugins except for our plugin, refresh the page where the issue is, and see if it is resolved (it should be). If it is, then start activating other plugins one by one, and after each activation refresh the page to see if the issue reoccurred. Once it does reoccur, you will have found the plugin causing the issue.

    -

    If the page loads all the elements for logged in users, but not for others;

then you might have some sort of a security issue on the site.

Can you check if you have any security plugins - try to disable them - and test if the issue is still there?

It might also be a cache issue - please try to purge all cache from the server, and the site - let me know if that helps?

    Thank you

    Kind Regards,

    Miloš Jovanović

Thank you for the advice.  I discovered it was my caching plug-in, Wp Fastest Cache. Once I disabled it the table dispalyed correctly.  For anyone else that may have this plug-in, you need to go into the settings and Exlude the page from the plug-in and it will display correctly.

    Thanks again
