Not sure if it is me but it seems that the shortcode that is automatically generated from Divi is wrong. As an example, instead of just the ID it fills the whole name and type.
just try to add amelia catalog with Divi and selecting a specific category. see image attached..
We had an issue with DIVI automatic shortcode some versions ago, but it has been fixed since...
Can you check do you have the latest Amelia version - if not, try to update, and let me know if this still happens...
If nothing helps, you can try this :
We can manually input Amelia shortcodes using the Divi code module, and it will work.
If you need help adding the Divi code module, to input WordPress shortcode directly,
First - Insert a Code module in Divi builder.
To add a WordPress shortcode to a page, in Divi page builder, insert a Code module.
Then, in the Code Settings dialog, enter the shortcode to the Content input box. In addition to shortcode, you can also enter regular text and HTML code to the Code module if needed.
- Let me know if you already have latest Amelia version; in that case we will need to inspect the issue remotely.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.

And at least as an emergency fix, let me know if the "manual Divi shortcode" worked?
We can certainly take a look from your WP-Admin setup, in order to try to determine the root of this issue.

If you can also please point me to the page that you are editing with this shortcode;
We will check with our 2nd level Team, if they have any other reports from users about this issue, and we will do our best to resolve it as quickly as possible.
Recently our developers launched the Amelia 5.1 version, it came after 5.0.2 ;
so it is worth a shot, perhaps try to update, clear the cache of the site - and let me know if that helped? In the meantime, i will look for any kind of alternate way to help you resolve this issue, without being able to access your site.
After i researched other cases further, i came up with a couple of them from the past 2 weeks;
We currently do have an issue with the preselection of our shortcodes in Divi.
They don't display our shortcodes properly - just as you pointed out. Here is another example colleagues made in this screenshot
For the time being, you need to edit it manually and insert it to look like this [ameliabooking service=1].
( or in your case [ameliacatalog category=3] if you want to show only the services from a category with ID 3)
After that everything should work fine.
Please do so and let us know if everything is as it should be.

As for solving the issue permanently with a fix, the Divi Team have changed something, so now the shortcodes are not displayed properly when they are preselected.
We will work on it to try and solve it if they don't change something again in the meantime, and we hope they won't.
At the moment I can't give you a precise ETA for that, but we will certainly work on it to be as soon as possible.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;
and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.
