We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi,
I am creating a website for a customer who is starting a dog daycare business. He wants customers to be able to reserve spots online, Amelia seems to have everything we need. I have three specific questions however:
1. Is it possible to book multiple timeslots at once? Not recurring, but just manually select a few timeslots. (I made a short video that explains my question better: https://www.loom.com/share/d52adf0a316e406abde3df3a31c072c3 )
2. Is there an option for availability? My customer only wants 5 dogs a day maximum. So in other words, the daycare service must only be allowed to be booked by 5 customers per day. Is this possible?
3. In addition to the previous question: can a timeslot be booked twice? Let's say a customer has two dogs that he wants to book daycare for on the same timeslot. Is this possible? And if so, will availability then also decrease by two?
Hope you can help me out!
Kind regards,
Casper
Hello Casper,
Thank you for your interest in our product.
We will try to answer your question as best as we can
1. Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia. You can achieve something similar to this with our extras option.
For example
If you have a client looking to book only a 15-minute appointment (for example from 10 to 10.15), and another client who is looking for a 30-minute appointment, that other client will be able to book appointments from 10:15 to 10:45 in two ways:
You can create 3 different services that will have a different duration (15, 30, 45 minutes)
You can create one 15-minute Service and add a 15-minute long Extra to that service. With this approach, the default duration is 15 minutes and if a client wants more time in the appointment they can extend the duration by adding 1 or 2 15-minute extras.
2. You can create group appointments and determine the capacity for that appointment or you can create 5 employees and set that each employee has a "1on1" appointment.
And as long as their appointment lasts, no one will be able to book them in that time period.
3. If it is a group appointment, you can activate the option "bring someone with you" option and that way they will be able to book for 2 dogs at the same time.
Hope this helps.
You can buy our license and try Amelia out. We offer a 15-day money-back guarantee, and in that period of time, you test everything and see if Amelia fits your needs.
If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask.
Kind Regards,
