When creating WP-Amelia Appointments in the Backend, you have to convert Wordpress Users to WP-Amelia Users MANUALLY.
It takes time and you need to type in stuff you already have in the WP-DB (EMAIL, Name..) - This is just a very odd thing to do, and takes time.
I would suggest, when selecting an WP-USER to AUTOMATICALLY convert the user into the Amelia Database, instead of going through a manual registration progress for something that is already in the WP-DB.
Automatically assigning the WP-Amelia Customer role on registration does not fix the Problem.
Please make it easier to just select an WP-User and do the handling of re-registration process in WP-Amelia automatically. (copy/sync or whatever)
This is maybe a feature request, but to be honest, its more an annoying bug/handling problem to fix than a new feature.
I can absolutely understand what you mean, and i agree that it could be a lot easier if we add this functionality to the plugin,
for situations when users have large number of users to register as Amelia customer > but also to connect them to WP users with Amelia Customer role.
-
At this time, the only "easier way" that i can think of is, is when we use the BuddyBoss platform integration;
it has a couple of useful buttons, but it still needs a manual action, not fully automated.
For example :
Under the Amelia Users Settings you can find options to manage users in WP and Amelia, and using these options customers and employees can be created in Amelia automatically easily from WP users.
There is the option “Transform Subscribers to Amelia Customers” to automatically add the Amelia Customer role to each user that has the Subscriber role, so if this is what you need you should check the option “Every user with the role of a subscriber will have the role of Amelia Customer added”.
There are two other options in connection to users here, for creating customers and employees in Amelia if there are users with these roles in the WordPress Users list, so by clicking on the Create Amelia Customers or Create Amelia Employees buttons, WP users that have these roles will be automatically created in Amelia as customers or employees accordingly.
-
That is the closest we got to this, so far, but i believe our developers will be able to create more elegant, and automated solutions.
- I will pass this to our devs as a suggestion, but if you could also be so kind,
to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;
and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.

Thanks a lot.
