I am unable to enter the column settings (gear) for editing the column data after creating a table by 'importing from an existing data source'. When I click on the gear in the title of a column (see below the gear next to EMP for example), the screen darkens but the modal pop up never appears.
If I try to 'add a column' in contrast, the screen darkens and the modal pop up does appear (see screen shot below)
Can you check do you have latest version of wpDataTables installed? I believe we had a bug for this some versions ago...
If you have the latest version - this might be a conflict with a theme or another plugin...

Can you try to add this :
Can you please try to add this to your custom CSS, at the customize table settings section ?
Or even better, you can add it to your main plugin settings > Custom JS and CSS, like on this screenshot, and it will affect all your tables at the back-end:
The css workaround fixed the issue and I've just updated to the most recent version. However, I still have an issue with the front end for published tables - the 'show x entries' option is greyed out and nothing happens when clicked on, so a user cannot change the amount of entries they would like to view. Is there a similar fix for this?
I am happy to see that we resolved part of the issue.
Let's see what's happening with the "show X entries" problem.

Could you show me a page where you have a table with this issue - i can inspect the browser dev tools , to see if we got any console errors?
-
And if i can take a look at your WP setup with the back-end of the table?
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.

Tell me if that resolves it, please.

Hi, Todd
It seems i found the solution.
It must've been some kind of Bootstrap conflict between our plugin Bootstrap and something on the site, such as active theme;
in the main plugin settings, i disabled the 'Include full bootstrap on the front-end' , and it seems it solved the problem.
Please check how it looks from your end, and if you can confirm that the issue is resolved? Thank you
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović
