I've come across an issue where the tables don't scroll when horizontal scrolling is enabled. This is happening even on the wpDataTables settings pages (/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpdatatables-constructor&source&table_id=1). This seems to be a conflict with another plugin https://theeventscalendar.com/. Thinking this is a CSS issue and wondering if anyone could shed some light on how to correct this.
Yes, this is most likely some kind of conflict between our plugin and, possiblyu either JS or CSS of something else on your site.

Can you please try this?
Please change the theme and see if the issue is resolved?
If not, then please deactivate all other plugins except for our plugin, refresh the page where the issue is, and see if it is resolved (it should be). If it is, then start activating other plugins one by one, and after each activation refresh the page to see if the issue occurred.
Once it does reoccur, you will have found the plugin causing the issue.
Let me know if you isolate the root of this conflict? Thank you
Yes, as this is a free plugin - i guess our developers should be able to try and debug the conflict.
We will certainly do our best to find a fix, and if we do , we will implement it in the plugin core, as soon as possible.
I am happy to see that you found this temporary fix for your situation - as you don't need the responsiveness, that is good.
Thank you for finding this conflict for us, and for the time being, you will have to keep this temporary measure.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like ( it is also available in the plugin dashboard), where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;
If we fix this one soon - it will certainly be stated on the patch notes in one of the future updates;
and if you wish you can follow our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.
Sorry, i somehow sent you a message in the middle of typing it, pressed a wrong key, so i am editing the ticket reply.
We're just following up on this conflict.
Our developers wish to try to debug it; they tried with the Lite version of the Events Calendar - but they are not able to replicate the issue.
As i also mentioned - on my Test site it was quite odd, on the front-end page i had no issue, but just on the back-end it was a bit strange, so I'm not sure if i reproduced the same error as you reported it...
- The developers have some questions
-Would it be possible perhaps to record a video for us, to see exactly how the issue behaves on your end, for front and back-end?
-Could you perhaps show us some steps on how you made the table?
-Are you using the free/Lite version of the Calendar Event plugin - or perhaps the premium version?
-It would be great if you can send us the files from your plugin version.
- Are there any specific settings that you maybe set on the Calendar Event plugin?
-
Let me know how all that seems, and of course, looking forward to your reply. Thank you
