hi there, we use gravity forms to integrate to wptables and just notices that a number field which is not a whole number ie: 47.5 shows up as 47 in wptables. This is happening on all forms - the data is correct in gravity forms entries but not in wptables. please advise asap
Did you check what is the number format in the data source, coming from the Form;
And did you set the same number format in wpDataTables?
You can check number format in main plugin settings > Number format
Also, check if you are maybe setting column type as Integer > if that is the case, please change it to a Float format.

If you already checked all of this and can't find the issue;
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
any update on this, ive changed the column type and cant get it to display the correct data that gravity forms is displaying. Its kind of urgent so please let me know if you have had time to login and look
yes kind of fixed it, was some general settings in the plugin that helped, but it is now a string and i cant do any calculations ( ie: total of that hours ) - when i change it to float, so i can do calculations and show values it look terrible on the chart on the /dashboard page ( but if i hover over a value it shows the correct value ) any ideas ?
Despite best efforts, i am still unable to find the root of the issue.
Just as you pointed out, i can see the rounding of the numbers is correct on the table, and on the tooltip of the chart;
it is rendering with too many decimals only on the series themselves.
I have escalated this in the meantime with our 2nd level Team; I wait for their advise - as soon as they investigate, i will report back with an update for you.
I am still unable to pass a number field from gravity forms to wptables as an integer, it rounds down - which causes me issues as i need to do a calc on that column. using float seems to work but the series values are rendering wrong. Look forward to your reply. TOdd
I did some further testing, in the meantime i found that the float number format was different between the Form numeric field and the wpDataTables plugin number format setting.
But i changed it in the plugin for a moment to the other Number Format - Made a new Test Chart, and it did not help, the issue remained the same.
The developers are still investigating it, we should get some input from their end soon as well.
I will check in with them intensively, we will keep you posted on the progress.

OK. thanks for the update. is apex charts the only type that can show the values ? i looked and couldn't find another way using the others ?
Hi, Todd
Sorry for another delay
You are correct, our Apex chart integration is the only one that can show the data values like that.
Here is what the developers advised.
You can try this callback :
Of course, you will change the chart ID in the brackets (wpDataChartsCallbacks[1]) with the ID that you need.
You have to add this script as a custom HTML block on the WordPress page where your chart is.
Please let us know if the callback helped. Thank you
