we've made the integration with G-Calendar, and from some tests with appointments in Amelia we'd noticed that apparently there have been overscheduling. We've tagged the G-Calendar events as busy, as recommended but it still happens.
I would like to know how to solve this situation with the 2 way sync between both platforms ( amelia and google calendar).
Thank you for reaching out to us and sorry for the late response.
Please access Settings/Integrations/Google Calendar and check if you enabled the "Remove Google Calendar Busy Slots" slider. If you have, you maybe have a lot of busy events in Google, and the threshold is reached fast, so also check the "Maximum number of events returned" and increase that.
so that all the time spans in the calendar that are marked as "busy", they will be "not available for booking" in Amelia.
Please note: In order to use 2-way Google synchronization properly your employees should set statuses of the events in their Google calendars as Busy. That way, time slots occupied by those events will be removed from Amelia calendar.

Hello Ana
Thank you for reaching out to us and sorry for the late response.
Please access Settings/Integrations/Google Calendar and check if you enabled the "Remove Google Calendar Busy Slots" slider. If you have, you maybe have a lot of busy events in Google, and the threshold is reached fast, so also check the "Maximum number of events returned" and increase that.
Let us know if that helped.
Kind Regards,

Hello Aleksandar,
just to be clear. This wont delete the events from Google Calendar?
Hi, Ana
You can rest assured that Amelia will not delete any Google Calendar events .
"Remove Google Calendar Busy Slots" , is only used to make busy time slots in Amelia,
so that all the time spans in the calendar that are marked as "busy", they will be "not available for booking" in Amelia.
Please note: In order to use 2-way Google synchronization properly your employees should set statuses of the events in their Google calendars as Busy. That way, time slots occupied by those events will be removed from Amelia calendar.
