I am working with a client website where they will be going to a conference where you can book 15 minute meeting slots with them at this event over a two-day period.
I cannot find the best way in which Amelia is able to showcase this on the front-end. The booking system needs to only show these two days as there is nothing else to book therefore the calendar view doesn't really work for us (unless the month the event is on can be automatically shown - conference is in September).
I've been trying to do some research on this and came across someone using an 'employees' special days to sort of facilitate what I am trying to achieve but I don't know how the plugin would only show the two days in question.
Is there anything you can help me with in working out the best course of action using Amelia and I have found this a great plugin for other clients I have.
Our event feature does not work like that. If you create an event to last 2 days, it will last 2 days, there is no option to book a 15-minute time slot within the event.
The best way to achieve this is with the help of the services. You need to create services where the appointment will last 15 minutes. And with the help of the special day's option, you can set your employee to work only on two specific days.
With regards to the special days, this is something I have created, as I saw another ticket carry this out, which I believe will work, however, the issue I have is how will I be able to show just these special days on the front end of the website, rather than have access to a calendar of all days (which won't be able to be used).
I tried to set that a persons normal work day had to times attributed to Monday-Sunday but that just showed that the person is 'Away' and front end, the calendar stopped working due to this.
If you can help me with this, it would be greatly appreciated.
You cannot display only those three days. Amelia is designed so that the entire calendar is always displayed and the days that are not available for booking are grayed out.
You need to delete working hours in that case and just create special days.
If you make special days, say for 27, 28, and 29, your customers will only be able to book on those days, while the other days will be grayed out.

Good Morning Marko,
