Hi there,
I want to use a South African payment gateway on Amelia without using it through WooCommerce. I find Woocommerce breaks the flow of the booking experience, and Checkout asks for the same details already provided by the customer in the booking form.
Is there any way to make a payment gateway that supports South African Rand native to Amelia?
I see this feature has been requested a few months ago, but it's not on the planned feature list. I'm hoping there is some way to help this feature get implemented, as it would benefit so many users. Payment is such an important part of the process, and just like customers abandon carts when it gets too complicated, I'm afraid customers abandon the booking process when it gets interrupted by Woocommerce taking them to a separate checkout.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia.
Amelia itself doesn't handle the payments but we have integration with several payment systems such as: PayPal, Mollie, Stripe and WooCommerce and Razorpay, so for now you would need to use WooCommerce if you want that payment getaway.
I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this page.
As for "this feature has been requested a few months ago" features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
