Since the last update, notifications (e.g. appointment validation, appointment reminder) are no longer sent. Neither to the client nor to the employees.
An issue with email notifications could be caused by several reasons:
Your hosting provider is blocking all 3rd party settings and only allowing their SMTP (or other) settings.
Your website has a PHP version of less than 7.
The credentials are not correct.
There's something else blocking the notifications from being sent.
If you're using Gmail, please check out this article for detailed setup instructions.
Please check these points, and let me know if you were able to resolve the issue. If you're still not able to resolve the issue, we'll need to remote into your website, and see what's going on.
Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately I have tried all the solutions you suggest, but nothing works.
1. I tried to configure the SMTP with "mailtrap.io", it doesn't work. 2. I was on version 7.4 and I upgraded to 8.0, it doesn't work. 3. Same as point 1 4. The emails sent from Wordpress are sent, but not those sent from Amelia. There should be no plugins or files that could interfere with the mail configuration. 5. I don't use Gmail.
I also tried the SMTP and WP Mail configuration, nothing works. I had set up Cron mails, they are not sent as well. I'm clueless at this point ^^'
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
The issue is coming from the "Google Listings and Ads" plugin you have installed. It's causing a conflict with Amelia and that's why the appointments are booked, but the emails aren't being sent nor is the booking process competed fully.
I disabled this plugin, and you can test it now - it should work fine. Our developers are looking into this issue and hopefully, they'll resolve it before our next update. Please keep this plugin disabled until then.
I would just like to add, that the new design of the booking form (2.0) is less beautiful and less ergonomic than the previous one. I hope that you can still choose between the two options. ^^'
Thank you very much for that and also thank you for the feedback. You will be able to choose between the two designs and use the one that you prefer. As the 2.0 booking form is still in the beta phase, we are still working on improving every detail and nuance of it.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Hi Aleksandar,
I left reviews on both sites. It's well deserved.
