We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi, sham
Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

Currently, we don't have any kind of Conditional Logic available in Amelia.
We have this in the scope for the near future, but i can't say an ETA on it.
Please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page,
to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;
and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.

At this time, perhaps we can think of a workaround...
If you wish to allow booking above max capacity, you can try this setting in Amelia Appointment settings :
If you set default appointment status for a service to be pending; this can allow customers to take up a lane for a time slot, and to add additional people above maximum...
-
In that case, you can also set to multiply the price by the number of people that book the lane...
-
But i am not sure if that would be ideal for you.
2.
Another way might be to just not allow people who don't know each other to book, to make the customer book the entire lane for "their group", for a maximum of 10 people;
Then you can add an "Extra" selection;
if they bring more than 10, they have to pay extra, either same price for each extra person;
or you can make it a bit "variable", to give them selection of a different custom price per extra number of persons.
-
I hope that this functionality might give you an idea what might be the best for you to set up.
Let me know how all of that seems, and if you have any questions
Thank you
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović

Hi Miloš,
Is there a way to make customers pay the full amount for a reservation online?
Hey, sham
Sure. For example, let's say if we use Stripe for an online card payment for the service.
In service settings, you can disable deposit > this will make customers only be able to pay the full price right away.
And you have to disable on-site possibility for this service.
This way, if a customer tries to book, during the payment screen, they have to pay full amount with their card online > otherwise the booking won't go through.
Let me know how that sounds? Thanks
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović
