Thank you for reaching out to us. 

You need to save the files in plugins/ameliabooking/languages/YOUR_LANGUAGE/ folder but you need to replace both the .po and the .mo files.

These files will, unfortunately, be lost with the update, so you'll need to replace them again after the plugin updates.

You can, of course, send us the translated files, so we include them in the next update. That way you will not lose your translations, but please note that you can't use your own (custom) phrases, as these translations will be used by other Amelia users also.
