We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi
Is it possible to have simple conditions inside of notifications?
I have two important use cases:
1) showing a text-block for recurring appointments only if there are any. Something like «You also booked the following appointments: » without anything following (in case there are none) just looks like an error.
If the placeholder would have fields to append content before/after this would solve it)
2) showing additional info per employee/service/location. Something like:
IF employee = [ID:1] { echo '<p>%employee_fullname% likes sweets. Please bring Snickers.</p>' }
I tested, but I couldn't add PHP/JS to the HTML fields.
Is there some workaround to achieve this in the current state of Amelia 5.0.2?
Thanks for your help
Sebastian
Hello Sebastian,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia. There is no possibility to conditionally send notifications or to send additional info and currently, we do not have any workaround for that.
I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this page.
Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
If you have any more questions please open another ticket and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best.
Kind Regards,
Marko Davidovic marko.davidovic@tms-outsource.com

Hi Marko
Thanks for your answer. I digged a little into the plugin and it was easy to add the functionality I described for my purposes. But before I proceed with using this modification in a productive environment, I want to check back with you to avoid any issues:
As I just checked again, WP Amelia is licensed under GPLv2, which allows for modification as long as the original code stays included. Can you please confirm that TMS allows me to use a modified WP Amelia plugin, as long as the original plugin and license are provided in full, in a productive use for clients?
I also put up a feature request under the link you gave. But there are two independent feature request sites for WP Amelia:
This seems to be the older one: https://wpamelia.cnflx.io/roadmap
This is the one you posted: https://features.wpamelia.com
Can you please clarify which one of those is used by your team now and in the future? And if one of these is obsolete, it would be good to prevent users from creating new requests.
Thank you for your help again, Marko.
Best,
Sebastian
Hello Sebastian,
You can use the modified version, and you can also send us what you did so that we can send it to our developers to see if you wish.
As for sites, features.wpamelia.com is a current site, cnflx.io is old and it is not used anymore.
Looking forward to your reply.
Kind Regards,
Marko Davidovic marko.davidovic@tms-outsource.com

Thanks for clarifying, Marko!
May I suggest you prevent new votings and new suggestions on conflux.io? And it would be best if you put a persistent warning notice on top that new feature votings are only possible on features.wpamelia.com. I think the old site is still relevant as many features have not carried over yet.
Thanks
Sebastian
Hello again Sebastian,
Thank you for the suggestion, I will forward this ticket to the relevant sector.
We wish you a lovely day.
