Compatibility Issues with Modern Versions of Bootstrap

I have been running into a number of bugs with this plugin, which is unfortunate, however one error almost had me completely giving up on it. On the front end, when trying to add a new row to a table the modal was not working at all. The opacity never changed from 0 to 1, the positioning of it was off, and the close buttons did not work. I discovered that the issue is due to the plugin using Bootstrap 3, which is many years old at this point. My framework uses Bootstrap on the front end, but the latest version which was causing a conflict. I turned off the 'Load Bootstrap' options in the settings for the plugin, but that did not resolve anything. The only way I can get this plugin to work properly is by using Bootstrap 3 instead of any later version. Please update the plugin's Bootstrap version and make any changes to the code as necessary, I won't be able to use this plugin on any other site otherwise.

    Hi, Eddie

Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

Thank you for reporting this behaviour,  the feedback, and the suggestion for improvement.

I will pass this to our developers, and they will do their best to update the Bootstrap of the plugin.

Unfortunately, i can't say an ETA on it, but they will work on it as soon as possible.

If you could also be so kind, please feel free to search on our suggestions page

to see if someone may be already suggested this improvement. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there,  and as more people vote, the task for improvement will move higher on the priority list.

    You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like ( it is also available in the plugin dashboard), where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;

and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.

I am also going to ask the developers if they have any workaround for the time being, that would allow you to bypass this limitation until they make the improvements.

If i get any workaround solution from them, i will make sure to let you know.

Thanks again, and of course, let me know if you have any further questions or feedback on this.

    Kind Regards,

    Miloš Jovanović

    Hello Miloš,

Thank you for your response. I have been trying other similar plugins, but so far this plugin is the closest to what I actually need. I received a refund for the plugin since I can't really use it, but if the bootstrap issue is addressed or there is a viable workaround for it I will gladly re-purchase it for use. If I am able to use the plugin again, I will also report some of the other more minor bugs I have come across to assist with the maintenance and development of the plugin.

By the way, a similar plugin I have tried had the option in the settings for Bootstrap 3, Bootstrap 4, or the default Semantic UI. This was unfortunately the only good thing about that plugin, but if you guys could either implement that option or just stick with vanilla HTML/CSS, that would be awesome. I realized that if you just switch over from Bootstrap 3 to 4 or 5 that other users may experience a similar problem I face if their theme uses Bootstrap 3 on the front end. That's why I would personally just opt for no Bootstrap if possible to avoid the potential conflict all together. I know that is easier said than done, however. Just a thought.

    Hi, Eddie

Sorry for the delayed response time.

I can completely understand the reason for the refund, and i made sure to pass all the details about the feedback, and the suggestion for improvements, for the attention of our developers Team.

They will do their best to work on the suggestions, and to create either functionality with newer Bootstrap versions, or to go for vanilla HTML/CSS, as you described.

Perhaps even, if somehow possible, to create options for users to choose between them.

Thank you for the suggestions once more.

And we will appreciate if you have any more suggestions, please don't hesitate to let us know or to leave them on the suggestions page.

    Kind Regards,
