Amelia has only built-in statuses: Pending, Approved, Canceled, and Rejected. There's no way to add custom statuses yet, but please feel free to add this suggestion to this page.
We carefully follow customers' requirements and try to implement most of them if they appear in requests from time to time, so we will add them to our idea list and look into some possible solutions on our side in the future.

In some businesses, you need to add your own statuses. It would be great to have the option to add custom statuses.

This is what comes to mind quickly, but each client will need its own statuses besides the general ones.
