Booking for various people

Hello, first sorry for my english, i will try to explain my problem the better i can :)

I am building a booking site , and one of the services must accept at least 3 persons (and 6 max).

The site is actually in construction so unfortunatley you can't access to the booking page.

In the services settings, I allowed the booking for multiple persons, the price is calculated according to the number of persons, the minimal capacity is setted at 3 and max capacity at 6.

When I want to book this service, Amelia offers me to choose (or not) the booking for multiple persons option. It's my first problem : the client can continue his booking without selecting this option, so he can book the service for 1 person, and pay the price for 1 person (my minimum is normally 3).

If he selects the option "book for multiple persons" and next just select one additional person, it's a booking for only 2 persons (and my minimum is 3). I would like than the minimum was 2 (so 1 + 2 = 3 and everything will be ok for me).

So, how can I solve this problem ?

One more question : I would like that the selection of number of persons was the global number of participant, including the one who makes the booking. In my case, it would be "how many persons for the service ?" and the possibility of answers must be 3, 4, 5 or 6.

I hope my questions are clear for you and that you can solve my problems easily.

    Thank you in advance,

    Hello Yann.

    Thank you for your purchase.

If you want the "Minimum Capacity" to be mandatory, so no one can book unless they book for at least 3 people (1 + 2 additional people), you would need to disable the "Allow booking below minimum capacity" option in Amelia Settings/Appointment Settings.

However, if you do that, once a person books an appointment, even if there are additional spots left, others won't be able to book the same appointment. For example, if I book for me + 2 people, you'd still have 3 spots left, but you wouldn't be able to book those time slots because the "Allow booking below minimum capacity" option (if disabled) will automatically close the appointment as soon as the minimum capacity is filled.

If you leave this option on, people will be able to book below the minimum capacity of 3, but the appointment will be in a "Pending" status until the minimum is filled.

Selecting the total number of people, instead of the person that books + others is currently not possible, but we'll work on that in the future.

    Kind Regards,
