Important to note that these tables can not be editable from Wp-Admin side, or the front-end, except for SQL tables, they can be editable.
For example , if you create a table linked to an Excel spreadsheet or Google Spreadsheet, in which case the table wouldn't be editable, but once you change the source file, the table will be updated.
Excel and CSV files are stored in wp-content/uploads/YEAR/MONTH/ folder, and you would need to replace the file in there, not making any changes to the filename or its structure, so only the data within the cells needs to be changed or updated.
As for Google Spreadsheets, when you modify or add new rows, the plugin will show those changes within 15 minutes (since there's cache on Google's side). If you don't want to face any issues with cache, you can use the Google Sheets API method.

On the other hand, if you use editable tables such as Manual, or SQL tables; they have an
auto-refresh interval feature – If set to a value different from 0, tables will auto-refresh after each XX seconds interval.

Let me know how that sounds and if you have any questions. Thank you

Dear support,
is there any option how to update table automatically ? I mean based on time period or change of source file ?

Hi, Miroslav
Thanks for this question.
Yes, if you link a table to a data source, such as Excel, Google Spreadsheet, CSV, Json , XML, a PHP array, or by SQL Query, the data will be read from the source every time the page loads.
Important to note that these tables can not be editable from Wp-Admin side, or the front-end, except for SQL tables, they can be editable.
