We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello,
We have detected the following errors on our website with the amelia plugin:
Our version of Amelia is: Version 4.5.1
Our version of Wordpress is 5.9
Is it possible to fix some bugs with updates?
How should I do the update?
Thanks
Hello Ruben,
Thank you for purchasing our product, and for reaching out to us.
You are using the old version of Amelia 4.5.1 We now have a new version of Amelia. When the plugin is not up to date it can have all sorts of issues you need to update to the latest version of the plugin.
When it comes to the old version of the plugin, we can not know exactly what the issue is because it is already an outdated version that is not maintained.
Please update to the latest version and let us know has that resolved the issue.
We are sending the latest version of Amelia in the attachment and a short instruction on how to update it. After the update is completed please purge the cache from your site.
Go to Amelia Settings/Activation, and make sure that the "Delete Amelia content" slider is disabled.
Then, go to your Plugins section and deactivate the plugin. If you're using WordPress 5.8+, you'll be able to go to the Plugins section/Add New, and upload the file you previously downloaded.
When you upload the file, WordPress will inform you that you're replacing the plugin with the new version, so just confirm that. After the plugin is installed, activate it, and make sure to purge all cache from your website.
Hope this helps.
Kind Regards,
Marko Davidovic [email protected]
