I want to make it so if they book I person they pay $30, for two people $55 and for 4 people they pay $100. In the pro version of Amelia is this a realistic thing to achieve without making it too complicated for the customers?
- I am sorry to disappoint you, but at this time, this is not achievable with any of our built-in functionalities in Amelia.
We currently don't have any kind of conditional Logic for the plugin.
The developers will work on adding this, but I can't say an ETA when they might start working on it.
I will pass this to them, but please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page,
to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and it will be forwarded to our management for review.
After it's been reviewed it will be presented on the front page, for voting. Please note that it may take some time before your suggestion is brought up for voting since we receive quite a lot of suggestions on daily basis, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;
and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.
-
At this moment, the only alternative workaround i can think of, might be a bit confusing for the customers unless you add an additional description to the service, or these Extra sections i will propose;
For example, you can set the initial appointment price to be $30 ;
and add a couple of Extra selections;
Extras allow you the possibility to add additional services or products customers can buy when they are scheduling the appointment. By click on the “Add Extra” button, new options will appear:
If you add this, customer will get a dropdown selection to choose,
And depending on which one they select, it will increase the price...
But in Amelia, it will be handled as an individual, not Group appointment, if that makes sense.
-
I know this is far from the solution we are going for, but, i tried to at least offer some kind of idea for the time being.
-
I will double check if maybe colleagues from the 2nd level Team have another workaround, and i will come back to confirm this for you.
-
In the meantime, you are free to test out all of the functionalities of our plugin on this Demo page
I just wanted to advise that, after double-checking with the senior team, they confirmed that everything i said is correct, and unfortunately at this time, we don't have a valid solution, or any workarounds to achieve this;
but our developers will do their best to create Conditional Logic in the future.
