I have 17 different events that are being held on the same day in the same time slot. The first page displays the 12 events properly, but the second page has 5 events, but they are 5 events from page one. I'm missing 5 events from the page. I'm not sure what's causing this. Is there a limit to how many events can be held at the same time.
Could the limit of the events on one page be increased? Perhaps this will eliminate my problem in one go. Is this possible and if so, how?
Unfortunately, there is no possibility where the number of events that will be displayed on the page can be changed. Amelia is designed that way and for now, that view cannot be changed.
I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this page.

Thank you Marko, but why is the second page of the events not showing the correct events? Like I stated there are 17 unique events happening and I can't see 5 of them.
Can you send us here which event is missing and which ones shouldnt be shown? And please send us a temporary admin access so we can take a closer look.

We looked at your events and you said that you have 17 events that are repeated 4 times, that is 68 events. Everything is fine there.
But you said “there’s only one event at that time is called softball” and when we look at the backend we can see that you have 2 events called softball that have 2 rounds.
We are sending you a short video where you can see these 2 softball events.
All 17 events are indeed repeated 4 times in different time slots. I think the backend has been programmed correctly. However, the front isn't displayed correctly.
Please look at the events (https://www.mollerlyceum.nl/sportdag-klas345-r1/) on page one and compare them to two. Note that the bottom 4 events on page 1 are the same events as the top 4 on page 2. This should be possible if there are 17 unique events per time slot.
On the other pages events are also repeated on page two, but not always the bottom 4.
We noticed you were using the tag for events, we had an issue with the tag recently but we have fixed it.
We are sending you the latest version of Amelia which contains a built-in tag fix.
Please install this version with a fix and purge the cache from the site this should help. In case it doesnt, we will forward this ticket for further examination to tra and find what could be the issue.
The list are still wrong. There are no differences in the pages as they are duplicates of each other with only the tag changed. I'm not sure why two pages are (seemingly) displaying things correctly, while the other aren't.
The bolded ones are the ones that are being duplicated on page #2. However, if I access Amelia's General Settings, and change the "Default items per page" from "12" to "18", those 5 events are replaced with these:
508
507
509
510
511
For the life of me, I can't tell you why this is happening. I forwarded the issue to our developers for testing, but could you please provide me with a staging site where we could test this thoroughly? In the meantime, on this site, you could simply change the "Default items per page" from "12" to "18", so it brings up the correct event IDs.
Remember to send us the credentials for the staging site in a PRIVATE response please.

Hello Paul,
I'm afraid we don't understand quite what the issue is exactly?
When we go to page 2 of your events we can see the remaining 5 events that you have.
Looking forward to your reply.
Kind Regards,
Marko Davidovic [email protected]

Hi Marko,
If, for example, you look at:
https://www.mollerlyceum.nl/sportdag-klas12-r1
You will see that softbal is on page 1 and 2. But when I look at the events list there's only one event at that time is called softbal.

Dear Marko,
Sorry it took so long to test, but I had problems uploading the zip file, so I had to do it manually.
I'm not sure the plugin has worked. When looking at:
https://www.mollerlyceum.nl/sportdag-klas12-r1/
https://www.mollerlyceum.nl/sportdag-klas345-r1/
It seems that the list is now correct.
However, when looking at:
https://www.mollerlyceum.nl/sportdag-klas12-r2/

The list are still wrong. There are no differences in the pages as they are duplicates of each other with only the tag changed. I'm not sure why two pages are (seemingly) displaying things correctly, while the other aren't.
Kind regards,
Paul

Hey Paul.
Sorry for the delay.
I'm not sure what's causing this issue, but it is quite strange. At the moment, on this page (https://www.mollerlyceum.nl/sportdag-klas12-r1/) the event list is this (by IDs):
The bolded ones are the ones that are being duplicated on page #2. However, if I access Amelia's General Settings, and change the "Default items per page" from "12" to "18", those 5 events are replaced with these:
For the life of me, I can't tell you why this is happening. No need, Paul, they found a bug
It should be included in the upcoming update (which should be released today or tomorrow, if everything goes according to plan).
So, once you update the plugin to the next version, you will be able to revert to 12 items per page, and this should not be happening anymore.
Do let us know how it goes, though.

Aleksandar Vuković
