The booking confirmation email does not start, although we have entered all the settings. In fact, we followed the tutorial on https://wpamelia.com/notification-settings/ but, when in the "Notifications" section we go to send the test email it tells us " Error - The email was not sent "
Thank you for purchasing our product, and for reaching out to us.
An issue with email notifications could be caused by several reasons:
Your hosting provider is blocking all 3rd party settings and only allowing their SMTP (or other) settings.
Your website has a PHP version of less than 7.
The credentials are not correct.
There's something else blocking the notifications from being sent.
If you're using Gmail, please check out this article for detailed setup instructions.
Please check these points, and let me know if you were able to resolve the issue. If you're still not able to resolve the issue, we'll need to remote into your website, and see what's going on.
Good morning. I used the guidelines of the article you sent me (https://tmsplugins.ticksy.com/article/18058/), using a Gmail account. These worked on two projects but now we have a problem. We have a site (on wordpress.org, not on wordpress.com) on which we cannot set Amelia's notifications, despiteeven thoughail account used is Gmail and followed the same procedure as the other times she indicated. What can we do?
