Dear Team,
I am going to hand over the web site I created to my customer.
As I do the maintenance, I only grant him a WordPress user role as EDITOR. But I also would like to grant my customer an Amelia MANAGER user role.
I need WordPress and Amelia capabilities to let my customer managing his business. I don't want to grant my customer an Administrator role because I want to prevent him to break the web site.
How can I do this ?
Thank you,
Best regards,
Anne-Camille
Hello Monet,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
In order to allow existing WordPress users to be linked to an employee in Amelia, we recommend installing the "User Role Editor" plugin. It allows you to assign another WordPress user role to an existing user, so if you add "Amelia Employee" user role to a "Subscriber" (for example), you will be able to link this WP user with the employee in Amelia. Please note - it is not recommended to mix users and roles, so please do not assign any additional user roles to Administrator accounts. Also, we do not recommend adding multiple user roles of Amelia to a single user (Amelia Manager and Amelia Employee, for example). Roles have their own capabilities and if you combine them, the plugin will run into a conflict it can't resolve (a paradox, so to speak).
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic

Thank you Uroš ! Your proposed solution helped me to solve my issue.
Hello Anne-Camille,
Glad to hear that the issue has been resolved.
My apologies if I already asked this before, but may I ask you for a small favor if you don’t mind?
Can you, please, leave a review on the Lite version of Amelia if you have an account at wordpress.org and have a couple of minutes? No need to write any specific text.
If it's not too much of a trouble, an additional review on Capterra would be greatly appreciated!
It’d mean a lot to us, and as a token of our appreciation, we would like to offer you a $10 credit for SMS notifications.
Thanks in advance.
Kind Regards,
