We are looking for a reservation plugin and wondering if this would work. We don't need appointment slots or times, we need to book by days/nights similar to a hotel. We also need to be able to set a capacity so that when it's full the dates are blocked. The capacity is based on total visitors/spots available, not by reservation. Is this possible with this plugin?
Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

Currently, we don't have the option to set up bookings completely without time slots, but they can be visually hidden from front-end customers:
- Regarding the dates to be blocked depending on capacity, yes, we have this feature:
Maximum allowed spots – Here you can set the maximum capacity for your event. Once the event gets full it will change the status to “Closed” and your customers will not be able to book it. On each event on the front-end event list, your customers will be able to see the number of free places left as the number of booked places/maximum number of places.
A regular "Service" with time slots, can not overlap more than 24 hours, but Events can.
Important to note is that, we don't have a "variable" number of days, for a customer to set.
You would have to create choises of fixes selections, for example, "choose to book 1 whole day";
or "choose to book 2 whole days";
or perhaps only certain part of day/night, if you need that.

Please check out more details about how Events work in Amelia here, and let me know how that seems - if you have any questions, of course.

Additionally, I just wanted to point out that we have pages with Demos, that you can use to try out some of the plugin's features - https://wpamelia.com/demos/
and there is a 15-day money-back guarantee period, so if you purchase the plugin, you can safely fully test it out,
we would assist you with our support along the way, and if it doesn't fit your needs you can request and receive a refund in that period.

The only idea i have is, you could try to set this up as Events. ( more details about that here)
