We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi - is "Cascading Dropdowns" something that can be done with WP Data Tables? At some point, with a larger amount of data, one needs to group the categories. Otherwise, there are just too many choices e.g.
Food> fruit&veg, drinks, meat, cheese
Fruit&Veg> banana, potatoes
Drinks> juice, beer
Meat> lamb, pork, chicken
.... would this be possible in WP Data Tables?
Thanks,
Oliver
Hello Oliver
Thank you for your purchase.
Cascading dropdowns are only available as filtering options, if you purchase the Powerful Filters add-on along with wpDataTables.
It can't yet be used for editing (although we will be working on that at some point in the future), but only for filtering.
I hope that helps.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Sorry, I may have copied the wrong purchasing ID... I was referring to wpDataTables itself (not the filter plugin). Is there a way to have cascading dropdowns being used in wpDataTables?
Thanks,
Oliver
Hi again Oliver.
Cascading filtering is not available with built-in features of wpDataTables, but only if you purchase the add-on (Powerful Filters).
Cascading editing (using single or multi-selection dropdowns) is also not possible with wpDataTables.
