Hello, we are looking into your plugin but we have a presale question that hopefully you will be able to help us out with. We would like to use your plugin to remind our customers to pay for their monthly service with us. We dont necessarily need to "book" them for a specific date, but let's say it could be for the beginning of each month. We are planning on using your packages option to create 12 appointments per year (once a month) and then remind them it is time for them to pay.
So, first question, are we understanding correctly your plugin is able to do this? Also, what happens when the customer does not pay on a particular date? Is there another reminder? And also, in the case of non-payment, what happens with the following "appointments"? Ideally we would like to remind them their monthly payment is due, even if the one previous to that is still unpaid. We have found plugins that work fine only when payments are made, if a customer misses a date, then the whole "packaged" is disabled and the following months they dont receive reminders, kinda missing the point in the first place.
Lastly, and kind of depending of all your previous answers, if notifications are able to be sent, where do we configure how notifications are sent out? Can we chooses X amount of dates in advance?
Not exactly so notifications to Amelia can be actions triggered or they can be sent via cron as if notifications have been scheduled. But all of them are related to booking, for the reason that Amelia is a booking assistant. You can also set the customer to be notified 30 days in advance that he has a booking
but it cannot be used only for notifications that the customer has to pay, ie it cannot be used only for notifications that are not related to the appointment.
In Amelia, everything is paid in advance, ie at the end of the booking process, or you can choose the on-site option.
Unfortunately notifications cannot be used exactly as you wish, we mentioned that all notifications are related to appointments and that all appointments will be paid in advance or in person.
If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask.
