I've been using the Placeholder to pre-filter a column on a WPDataTable. Then I used the CSS (Customize feature) to hide the filtering area. It works great.
HOWEVER, when I add its DataChart on the same page, the filtering is visible again.
Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

Could i please take a remote look at the setup, and i will be able to isolate the issue for you?
Most probably we should be able to provide some custom CSS that should do the trick...
-
For my CSS example, we enable the Filters to show above the table, for it to work, then you can use this CSS;
Just one more question... Seems I cannot use a Chart with a Month and a total amount of hours (Time) to show the graphics.
I find this error:
"Please do not add more then one string-type (date/time, image, email, URL) column since only one can be used as a label"
Even when I try, I can only see "7".. That's not a total amount of hours like "07:00:00"
Is it impossible to use both values? I want to show on a Chart the total amount of hours done in an specific month, but it doesn't seem to work. You can even try to do that with the previous table to test it.
Regarding this question for the chart, yes i see what you mean, it is quite tricky... Not sure if we can achieve this solution as you need it, to be honest, but i will escalate it to my senior colleagues at the 2nd level Team, they will advise me what can be done.
As soon as they respond, i will come back to you. Than you for your patience
No problem. I apologise for the waiting time from your end once more.
Yes. I will do my best to push this task with the developers from my end as much as possible.
They will have to work all of their tasks depending on priority, but they will get to it eventually, and i hope they will find a way to solve it, as soon as possible.
I forgot to say, for any feedback or suggestions that you might think of, to improve our plugin with new functionalities;
to see if someone may be already suggested a feature that you need, and you can just up-vote on it.
If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like ( it is also available in the plugin dashboard), where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;

Hello guys
Just want to show you the issue regarding this case.
I'm using this CSS Code to hide a filter:
#table_1 > thead > tr:nth-child(2) > th.sort.column-participant > span > input {
display:none !important;
}
This is the result on WpDataTable plugin:
However, this is the result on the front end:
Any ideas why is this happening?
The same happens when I use 2 tables on the same page (sometimes only one of these tables work on hiding the filter) or a table and a chart.

I took filter number 3 on my table, i think it is the third in a row for your table, so i did that:
And now the "lastname" column filter is completely hidden
Try this, and let me know if it can work for you as a solution.
If not, you could send me a link to the page, and we can try something else. Thank you.
Kind Regards,

Hello Milos
Ok, I'll be attentive and awaiting for your response.
Thank you for your support.

My apologies for all the waiting time, we tried various workarounds to achieve what you described.
Unfortunately, at this time it is not possible to count or use any calculations such as Total with date, or string values;
Calculations can only be made with numeric values, on the tables;
and for creating charts, we can only add one string type column ( such string and date);
Other columns of a chart can only be numeric, I'm afraid.
At this moment we don't have any workarounds for that, but we will do our best to improve it in the future.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović
