It seem Amelia stores emails after each booking and attaches it to a corresponding name.
So when our business customers book with the same email address but different name, Amelia will automatically revert back to the original name used in the emails and text messages. How do we stop Amelia storing email addresses, so they can be reused without changing the name to what was used when the email was first used?
This has always been off on our side. The name on the booking and Amelia portal is correct.
However when the appointment is rescheduled, the name on the rescheduling email/text is that of the initial person booked (when the email was first used)
Thank you for your patience as we worked to get back to you, we apologize for the delay, due to a high volume of tickets our team has received due to our national holodays, our response time has been delayed, but we're working to ensure everyone receives the help they're needing!
Thank you for clearing up this to us but when the Customer books for the first time under one name, that name will be saved in the database. The customer can later book with the same email under a different name but when they try to reschedule in the notifications they will write the first name related to that mail in the database and you can't change that unfortunately, it works that way because the mail address is originally saved with the first name that was used during the booking process.
If you have any more questions please open another ticket and we will gladly help you there.
Unfortunately, you can not. When they book with another name they will get a notification with the name under which they booked, but if they reschedule they will get a notification with the "original" name that was used when it was first booked with that email because it is saved with that name first time in your database.

Hello Tehmoor,
Thank you for purchasing our product, and for reaching out to us.
You need to go to Amelia/settings/role settings and turn off Check customer's name for existing email when booking option and that is it.
After that customers will be able to book for other people with the same mail.
Please try this and let us know if this has helped.
Looking forward to your reply.
Kind Regards,
Marko Davidovic [email protected]

So how can I stop this from happening?
