2. Days Off Settings - cannot add date from the calendar, cannot type into date box.
For points 1 and 2, if you can please record this happening, so that we can fully understand and see the issue , then i will be able to provide accurate assistance.
It is possible that there might be a conflict with another active plugin.
Can you please change the theme and see if the issue is resolved? If not, then please deactivate all other plugins except for our plugin, refresh the page where the issue is, and see if it is resolved (it should be). If it is, then start activating other plugins one by one, and after each activation refresh the page to see if the issue reoccurred. Once it does reoccur, you will have found the plugin causing the issue.
Let me know if you discovered a conflict while testing this.

- I am sorry to disappoint you, but at this time, this is not achievable with any of our built-in functionalities in Amelia.
At this time we don't have a way to skip a booking step.
The developers might add this in the future, but I can't say an ETA on it.
Please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page, https://features.wpamelia.com/ and see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and it will be forwarded to our management for review.
After it's been reviewed it will be presented on the front page, for voting. Please note that it may take some time before your suggestion is brought up for voting since we receive quite a lot of suggestions on daily basis, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.

We can also take a remote look at your WP - Admin, if you wish.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Very well actually, I like the clean style and quick action.
A few points I'd like to mention
To select days in the "Days Off" date picker a double click is required. It took me a while to figure this out .. This is at both the Settings 'working hrs & days off' and the Employee 'days off'. Perhaps single clicks would work ..
I would like to change the name "Employee" to something else more professional e.g. Practitioner. An option to change this name would be good.
At "Appointments" there is no button to "Add Appointment". I see this is available at "Calendar" so I'm able to manually add appointments here, but it would be great to quickly manually add an appointment at the list whilst I'm in that window. I would like the window to open in the current week by default.
When adding an appointment the Time box begins at midnight by default, we have to scroll a long way to find the required time. It could open at say 9.00am by default. Also I often like to add extra time to a booking but there's no simple way to select a different finish time. I'm moving to Amelia from Bookly, which had Period (rather than Time) with a start and finish time selectors - I selected start time, finish was filled by default but could be altered.
At the Calendar it would be great if the "New Appointment" box opened when I click on a timeslot. Opened at that time ready to input a booking. This window also begins at midnight which means a lot of useless white space to scroll through when using it - it could start at about 7.00am and also be presented in a tidier frame.
When adding a Customer the name is split into First Name and Last Name in mandatory fields, which seems unnecessary if for example I'm adding a business meeting to the list.
I don't need a reply to this message, I'll leave it with you and the team.

Another glitch ..
I created a sample appointment and did not complete the 'Phone Number' - the appointment was approved. In Settings - General I had set Phone Number as a mandatory field
Firstly i want to thank you for all the suggestions and feedback, as well as any glitches you can find.
We do our best to test everything out ourselves before launching any feature or UI change, but as you can see, sometimes our users can find some details that we miss, and we fix it as quickly as possible, either by a temporary quick fix, or a small update.
- I will look into the 'Phone number' as mandatory field error;
and i will advise you on the findings once i try to replicate it both on my local test site, and on your site.
- And i will make sure to pass all the suggestions on all the points you stated for improving the plugin functionality ( Hopefully we might get a quick improvement for some of them, in time for the next update)
I will report back once i fully test out the 'Phone number' field issues.

This is the second bookings plugin I am installing, previously I used Bookly. Your system is better but they had features you do not.
One of these is "Notes" at the Payment page. Customers MUST be able to leave a note - there are many contingencies that customers must be able to note here.
One thing to fix soon is "employee" at the customer interface. I am a practitioner in my own business providing a high level of healthcare. I want to change that name.

Regarding the notes at the payment page; can you please elaborate on this in more detail; I'm not sure if i understood that detail.
For example, we have custom fields that customers can fill out during booking,
The Custom Fields feature gives you the option to add more fields to your booking form so as to customize it to best match your business needs. The customer’s first and last name, email address, and phone number are there by default, but with the Custom Fields feature we can add extra fields if you want to ask a customer a question, collect additional personal details, or for any other reason.
For appointments, these fields will appear on the Booking form under the default fields, and once your customer fills them this information will be shown in the appointment information on the back-end.
- The type of custom fields can be :
Text, Text Area, Text Content, Selectbox, Checkbox, Radio buttons Attachment (currently .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .pdf, .xls, .txt, and .csv are supported) Date picker -
The Text Content custom field supports HTML so you can add links, pictures, colors, etc. to customize the text better.
- But maybe you meant a different kind of note, or in different moment of booking.

Regarding 'employee label" , I apologise, i somehow missed this detail previously, we can actually change this.
You can do this by going to the Customize section in Amelia, click the little pencil icon, and you can change it:

since the issue is related, I'm posting it here as well: the behavior of the "email" field is the opposite of the "phone" field: It is always mandatory and the setting to have it optional has no effect.
So currently phone number is always optional while email address is always mandatory.
Sorry for the waiting time, i am still waiting confirmations from the senior Team, and the developers about those unresolved points we have on this ticket.

We did not receive reports or found issues with this behaviour , but we will make sure to double-check it, perhaps it is possible that in recent Updates,
if we made any kind of oversight to miss that detail -
We will add testing of the Email field as optional, as well as the phone field as mandatory, and vice-versa.
I will check with developers if it is possible to make this behavior easier for our users; because i can understand if this might be sometimes confusing,
but it seems that we have to make the field mandatory on both Amelia General Settings,
and in the Amelia Customize section:
Steffi, if you can also double check, the fields that you need as mandatory should be checked here, but also in Amelia customize, to make sure it works.
As soon as i checked this field as Mandatory on Customize, Hugh, i made a new Test service - and now it is not letting me book without placing a valid phone number :
Please check, everything should be working now regarding the mandatory fields.

I just got confirmation that this is an old issue that we are still working on. Our developers are doing their best to resolve it, so that users will be able to only check "one of the two settings", but for the time being - we will have to double-check both as "mandatory" or "not mandatory", for it to apply properly.

I found the issue for the phone mandatory field.
I will check with developers if it is possible to make this behavior easier for our users; because i can understand if this might be sometimes confusing,
but it seems that we have to make the field mandatory on both Amelia General Settings,
and in the Amelia Customize section:
Steffi, if you can also double check, the fields that you need as mandatory should be checked here, but also in Amelia customize, to make sure it works.
