How can I make the customer dashboard be available at all times in the top right corner?
At the moment, I can only access it using the customer panel.

Thank you for purchasing our product, and for reaching out to us.
The customer panel is a separate entity, you as the admin can see the appointments and the customers on the backend of the site and the panel only serves so that customers can have a better and easier overview of their appointments. We cannot change the form of the panel I'm afraid.

It would be a good addition, that way customers can tell if they're already logged on, and click the upper right-hand corner to see their customer panel.

That depends on the point of view, many users would not like this option and some of them probably will like it, but we encourage you to as always add this as a feature suggestion on this page.
Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
If more users ask for this option, it will be implemented in Amelia over time.
