If you see a "Redirect URI mismatch", the URI in Amelia and the URI in Google Developers Console are not the same.
Please go to Amelia Settings/Integrations/Google Calendar and make sure that the URI you see in there is your website's URL, ending with "wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpamelia-employees". For example, if your website is "yourwebsite.com", the redirect URI needs to be this:
Is your website in HTTP or HTTPS? Please note that Google doesn't allow HTTP at this time, so if it's HTTP, you'll need to install an SSL certificate and move your site to HTTPS before you can continue.
After verifying that, please go to Google Developers Console, and in "APIs & Services" go to "Credentials". Under "OAuth 2.0 Client IDs" click on the name of your app:
In there, check the "Authorized redirect URIs" on the bottom of the page. Make sure that the URL has to be the same as it is in Amelia/Settings/Integrations/Google Calendar.
Hope this works for you.
Please provide me with an update on whether it does or does not.
Is it possible to have my employees, which are actually contractors connect their own gmail or outlook accounts without their details (accounts) being part of our gmail or outlook domain/Google Developers Console registration. Ie they are stand alone. Could they configure their own accounts to be able to simply connect in to Amelia via their employee portal? or is this not possible?
Just writing to thank you for your instructions below. I have applied these and all seems to be working. I am grateful for your assistance and guidence.
If you use the front-end Employee panel and want to allow employees to connect their Google calendars from there, you also need to add the full URL of the page where you have the front-end Employee panel, as well. Please make sure to include the whole URL, with the closing ” / ” included, as shown in the screenshot below (“staff-portal” redirect URI).
Please let me know if you need assistance with the Outlook integration.
In regards to the iCal integration, the developers might add this in the future, but I can't say an ETA on it.
Please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page, https://features.wpamelia.com/ and see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and it will be forwarded to our management for review.
After it's been reviewed it will be presented on the front page, for voting. Please note that it may take some time before your suggestion is brought up for voting since we receive quite a lot of suggestions on daily basis, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can also follow our changeLog page, where we present any changes/new features at every update.
When my employees try to connect their gmail to their account using the employee dashboard some of them are reporting this error?
Are there any instructions please for solving this?

And once again thank you.
