I have used your translation facility to translate what I can. However, when I look at the site in french the days of the week in the date picker part are not correctly translated. I can not see how I can rectify this.
4. After that open the program and open the file from the extracted folder on your computer ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/wpamelia-fr_FR.po.
5. Translate all the strings that are not translated
6. Save the translation.
7. Go to ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/ folder and copy these two files called wpamelia-fr_FR.po and wpamelia-fr_FR.mo back to your website in the location ../wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/.
Please let me know if this helps, and if you need further assistance. Thank you
Thank you for your response, it has been helpful with some of the elements so far and will continue to help me. However there is one element I can not find.
In the attached image you see my booking form translated into French when you use the standard google translate extension in a browser. This is also what my clients see using other translation services.
The issue here is the abreviated days of the week: M,J,O,J,F,S,S
Firstly my sincerest apologies for all the waiting time on this.

I have been advised. Basically, the translation of the months on the calendar for time slots is being pulled by a 3rd party library, and this has to be set up differently. But we already had a lot of users who use French and they have no issues.
We would suggest to not use Google Translate, but rather to add French as additional language in Amelia, and add additional URL for French version of the page;
and it should work.
Can you double-check if you followed the instructions from this documentation on how to setup multilingual site with Amelia, please?

Hi, Kate
Thanks for reaching out to us
Words can be changed using POEDIT or Loco Translate for example very easily. I suggest you install Loco Translate and then translate these strings.
If you want to use POEDIT then this is an instruction:
1. Download the Amelia plugin from CodeCanyon and save the .zip file on your computer.
2. Unzip the downloaded .zip file.
3. You need to download and install POEDIT.
4. After that open the program and open the file from the extracted folder on your computer ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/wpamelia-fr_FR.po.
5. Translate all the strings that are not translated

I can not find anywhere to change this?
Thak you again
Hi, Kate
I am glad that it was helpful, at least to get started.
- I can see what you mean for the month letters;
I have to check if we have a solution to change them as you need here;
As soon as i get the information from my senior colleagues at the 2nd level, i will come back to you. Thank you.
Kind Regards,
