Currently, we are allowing a customer to book a 1hr slot for our rentals. I understand that you can set the booking timeframe in increments of 1hr, 2hr, 3hr, etc.
Is it possible to give the customer an option to select their own booking timeframe? For example, a customer can select only 1 hour at a time. I'd like them to be able to select if they want 1hr or 2hr or 3hrs, etc.
Our developers have in scope to add this feature in the future, where customers can have more freedom in setting up the variable times as you described; but at this moment it is not possible.
I can offer some workarounds if you'd like to try.
For example, you can set "extras" on the service, in a way that, the service initially lasts 1 hour... they will be presented with a choice to add extended time in increments of 1 hour , and you can set additional price for the "extra time", if that makes sense.
and then, when they book, they select date and time slot, then they will be presented with the choice if they wish to add more hours - with the price multiplying for each hour.
Just an example i made, but you can customize, of course.
Alternatively, you can set individual services - and name them " 1 hour service", " 2 hours service", and set each to have fixed duration... ( i would say the first workaround is better in my opinion)

Let me know how that seems, and if anything was not clear. Thank you
