Since the Amelia support doesn’t show a reaction and/or doesn’t seem to be able to help me at all, I am hoping to get help from other AMELIA users.
In general, the plugin works fine, but the emails are not sending. My customers don’t receive any confirmation emails. Also, sometimes the emails are sending, but the Amelia customer is not connected to a wordpress user. I have to do it manually. And yes, I enabled the “autimatically create wordpres user” option.
I checked all the options:
1. Using the recommend chaching plugin.
2. Checking PHP version.
3. Checking the correct email settings.
4 ….
This problem is getting is so annyoing that I think about changing to another service. Any ideas?
For future reference, please don't open multiple tickets with the same topic, as it wastes your and our time trying to either find a response twice (if, for example, my colleague responded on another ticket already) or inform you that the ticket has been submitted more than once.
We go through tickets in the order in which they are received and/or responded to, so creating multiple tickets will only increase our queue, it will not speed anything up. We try to be as fast as possible, so thank you for your patience!
If you have any questions or concerns about another topic, please feel free to open a new ticket, and we'll gladly help you out!
For anyone else following this thread with a similar issue I was able to resolve my issue by going to Amelia > Settings > View Notification Settings > And changing the Mail Service option to WP Mail.
In my case I am using WP Mail SMTP to connect a SMTP Mailer.

Hello,
I am having this same issue. My employee is getting email notifications but not the customers.
When I click on the link below to the other ticket it is no longer available.
Is there a fix to this issue?
Thanks
Jonathan
For anyone else following this thread with a similar issue I was able to resolve my issue by going to Amelia > Settings > View Notification Settings > And changing the Mail Service option to WP Mail.
In my case I am using WP Mail SMTP to connect a SMTP Mailer.
After changing that the test emails worked.
Hope that helps.
Hello Jonathan,
Thank you for sharing your solution, we will keep that noted for future reference.
