Unfortunately, this is so and there is no way to limit the “extras option”. The same goes for events if you have custom pricing in which case custom pricing spots will override maximum allow spots, unfortunately.
I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this page.
Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.

We closely follow the list and improve the features one by one. Until recently, the pricing option was not available in Amelia, and due to the voice of the customers, we implemented that feature as well.
We hope that this feature will be available in the near future, but we can not make any promises and we can not give you the exact eta for that.

I am referring to this ticket. I just bought it for our museum where we are doing tours with 35 people through the museum.
There are infants and adults prices .
MAX 35 people for one tour. So I also need also a maximum per tour.
Best would be if the additional people also would count.
By your solution you may buy 1 adult ticket and unlimeted small kids.
Otherwise the option "max person" is useless and only good if you have price category for everybody.

And these are the person's who are voting. Probably even more needs this.
I every booking process you have adult, kids, familys, handicapd, students prices.
You also have implement this un the software, but useless to use ;) if it's not counting people.
