Hello. I'm makeing a website that will have events all over the country. I've been looking at Amelia and I would like to use the Calendar type in the website. I would like do filter by state and by city, so that when a person chooses a state only the cities in that state are show in a second filter option. Is there a way to do this?

I thought about using the tags to be a second filter, but when I choose the location all the tags are listed in the filter, and I would like to show only the tags that are conected to events a the specified location.

Another possibility is to make a page for each state and use the shortcode [ameliaevents type=calendar tag='name of the state']. The problem with this is that when you filter directly in the short code you no longer see the filter by tag options in the calendar. The second problem is that if the the tags filter apear, I would like that the only tags that appear for filtering would be the ones where the events have both tags, the one chosen in the shortcode (the state) and the possibles tags (the cities in that state).

I hope i explained my self well.

    Thank you very much,

    Guilherme Andrade

    Hello Guilherme,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Unfortunately, that is how it works at the moment as the tags cannot be used for filtering on the front end.

Please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page, and see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and it will be forwarded to our management for review.

After it's been reviewed it will be presented on the front page, for voting. Please note that it may take some time before your suggestion is brought up for voting since we receive quite a lot of suggestions on daily basis.

Please reach out to us if you have any other questions.

    Kind Regards,
