We offer in-studio fitness training with multiple personal trainers and 2 locations. Customers can buy packages of 8 sessions, and they have to make their first appointment before they can purchase. After they purchase, they can go into the account manager and make future appointments.
Our issue:
When a customer makes their first appointment with a trainer, Amelia assigns them to that trainer. When they are making future appointments, the customer is unable to choose a different trainer or a different location. As trainers do not work set schedules, it's crucial that customers be able to book according to their schedules.
Where does Amelia pull the assigned trainer from in the database? Could we add some code that after the WooCommerce purchase is completed, we could build an Action that will remove that assignment? Would this cause problems? Will it break Amelia? What are the possible repercussions of doing this?
We have multiple locations. How does that affect everything? We have 2 locations and multiple trainers. The trainers also sell packages and want to work with the customers they sell. However, there are times that the client may need a different trainer (illness, vacation, availability, etc…)
What is the roadmap for development for the reworking you mentioned in your reply? Has it been started? Is there an estimated release date?
Regarding creating an action after a WooCommerce product is purchased, unfortunately a solution for what you suggested might be possible with a high level of custom work.
Our developers are very busy at the moment, working on some priority tasks and fixing bugs and issues with our plugins, so they won't be having the time for custom work in the near future...
We can only recommend reaching out to someone who does custom solutions, such as WP Kraken, and to see if they could come up with a workaround - but we don't know their pricing.

Let me know if I didn't cover everything you asked, and i am hoping everything is explained in a clear way. Thank you.

We have been unable to find a solution in Amelia.
Thanks for the reply.

Hi, Robb
I've been advised by our 2nd level Team about this.
