Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
Also, make sure to tell me which page this is happening on, and which tables and charts are affected (IDs), so we know where to look.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
If you can't bring up a staging site where you could share access with us, would you be able to clone your website?
If yes - I'll ask you to install the Duplicator plugin. It will generate a couple of files that you can send me (along with the log-in credentials), and then I can create an exact copy of your website, see what the issue is and try to resolve it.
The Duplicator plugin can export only up to 500MB of data, so if your site is bigger than that, please use the All-in-One WP Migration plugin.
Please note that the files will be too large to attach to the ticket, so you can upload them via wetransfer.com and just send me the link.
Also, make sure to send me a PRIVATE response, since this is a public ticket.
As you can see in our changelog, this fix was implemented in v4.2:
BugFix: Fixed issue with showing filters for large tables when Display length is All.
Maybe you had some cache stored deep on your original site - try reaching out to your hosting provider, and ask them if they can perform a deeper cache purge.
With v4.2.1 we've included more bug and stability fixes, and this was already included, so it should work fine.
Everything is broke. I cant recover the data tables. Filters are not working.
THIS IS A REAL DISASTER! Please your help ASAP!
One more thing: The widget for filtering isn´t working (which we use for filtering by dates)
Hello Adrian.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
The issue is with the new update and tables that have the row length set to "All".
Please go to wp-content/plugins/wpdatatables/source/class.wpdatatable.php file and change line 1880 from this:
To this:
Please clear the cache on your browser and test your tables again.
This fix will be included in the next update, so you won't have to perform this fix again.
Once again, sorry for the inconvenience.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Sorry but it is not possible. The website is on PROD, and clients are working in there.
Actually there is installed version 4.0.1 and we can not upgrade to test.
I will try to generate a testing website, but I really don´t know if it will be possible.
I understand, Adrian.

I could make a copy of this site, update to wpdatatables 4.2.1 and now it works just fine.
Do you know what could cause this issue? is it dinally fixed in this actual version?
