I am having issues linking existing Wordpress users to Amelia users. I'm using User Role Editor to manage additional roles. I'd like all providers to see the employee dashboard on the front end, and it works briefly. I've used the role editor to add the role of Amelia Employee to a user, and that user was able to successfully log in and see the dashboard. My account is of course an admin account; if I, or another admin account, try to access the front end page we are required to log in through the Amelia log-in form, but get that our username and password is incorrect.
Likewise, I am not able to list myself as an employee and link my WP account to Amelia, even though I have added various Amelia roles to my account in an attempt to force a link. On the backend, I can see that my external ID for my WP user is "null" in the database. Filling this in manually briefly allows access to the front end page for event and appointment management. It does not link my employee card to my WP user. However, revisiting the database later that value is once again "null".
For the separate user I have assigned as an employee, it also looks like the WP user link is not being maintained. After adding the role in the role editor, I was able to initially link her Amelia and WP user records, but now when I look at her employee record it shows no WP user link.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

I have performed checks from the back-end and please note that it is not recommended to mix users and roles, so please do not assign any additional user roles to Administrator accounts. Also, we do not recommend adding multiple user roles for Amelia to a single user (Amelia Manager and Amelia Employee, for example). Roles have their own capabilities and if you combine them, the plugin will run into a conflict it can't resolve (a paradox, so to speak).
Hope this helps you.
Please reach out to us if you have any other questions.
Unfortunately, that would not be possible, as you would need to create a separate employee and connect it to a different WordPress user than the admin user.
Hope this helps you.
Feel free to contact us if you have any other questions.
So I've got another question regarding the Zoom integration. I've searched the tickets and articles and saw a few items that hit on meeting passwords, but nothing so far that I've found has seemed to hit on how to include the password in the invite.
Is there a way to change the meeting type to password only rather than waiting room by default, and include this password in the invite email? I've tried a few different things, but so far any time we schedule an event or appointment by default everyone goes into a waiting room. From a group fitness perspective that is problematic as somebody has to be watching the waiting room to let participants in.
NVM, it can work with the authentication setting in the Zoom dashboard. But, it would be awesome if we could choose to use a passcode and had an email placeholder for that.
Please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page, and see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and it will be forwarded to our management for review.
After it's been reviewed it will be presented on the front page, for voting. Please note that it may take some time before your suggestion is brought up for voting since we receive quite a lot of suggestions on daily basis.
