We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

URL filtering not functioning

    I have spent hours trying to get URL filtering to work on a MYSQL table using a query and a view. Column and Global filtering works fine in the preview mode of wpdatatables as well as the page where the table's shortcode is placed. I just can't get a pre-filter (?wdt_search   or column_search) to work via placing it in the URL to the page where the shortcode of the table exists. I have re-named the column headings to eliminate spaces and any other special characters.  I've done everything the documentation says like enabling 'Advanced column Filters'. I am at a loss. I can't get URL filtering to work using a competitor (wpdata access) either, it does the same thing. Where am I going wrong?  Hank

    - I can help you figure this out and isolate the issue, but I would need a bit more details, and to inspect the page where this table is, if you could send me a link to that page,

    and let me know some examples of a wdt_search   or column_search that are failing to happen with pre-filtered URL?
