My brother is a web designer who has setup this WP site for me, you have stopped replying to his requests so now I'm responding hoping to get an answer.
When clients book in, it logs the booking in Amelia, however when I approve the booking, it is suppose to send out a confirmation email to myself and my client... Google denies the access to send this email I have authorised 3rd party access and have removed 2 way verification on Google profile as requested. Even when I run a test email an error occurs.
I want to know why this is happening otherwise this program is redundant to me and I'll need to look at other options.

An issue with email notifications could be caused by several reasons:
If you're using Gmail, please make sure "Allow less secure apps" is enabled.
Your website has PHP version less than 7.
The credentials are not correct.
There's something else blocking the notifications from being sent.
Your hosting provider is blocking all 3rd party settings and only allowing their SMTP (or other) settings.
Please check these points, and let me know if you were able to resolve the issue. If you're still not able to resolve the issue, we'll need to remote into your website, and see what's going on.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Thank you for that, but we need a password so we can log in. That access was given to my colleague in another ticket in which your brother wrote is not related to your ticket and we do not have that information and can not know in which ticket your brother wrote to us.

We have inspected the page and in your console, we can see the 500 error.
The 500 Internal Server Error is a server-side error, meaning the problem probably isn't with your computer, Internet connection, or plug-ins but instead is a problem with the website's server.
You need to contact your hosting provider. Can you please investigate your server log and see if there are some errors.
That had nothing to do with issue, it's now been resolved.
Here is what we did to resolve the issue.
So what we did was create a work around by making a website specific email address: Anything sent to this account is auto redirected to my Gmail so I don't have to handle another email account
The problem was the 2 step verification from google and the newest update from the plugin only letting emails be sent via 1 specific method. Google won't allow it to send and the plugin removed all other methods.
Hope this helps with other people's accounts having the same issues.
