    Dear Amelia team,

    I have a question:
in the payment method, the button "On Sight" is displayed next to PayPal. i would very much like to rename this to invoice (Rechnung). i think this is how it was displayed before. is there any way to change this?

    Best,

    Hi, Falko Alexander

Thanks for reaching out to us

    - Yes. You can change this in Amelia/Customise section:

    Option 1 :

    Option 2:

Let me know how it goes. Thanks.

    Hi Milos,

    thanks for the feedback.
It seems that it doesn't work out. I have changed and saved it, but on the button stands still "On Sight" instead of "Rechnung".
    Any ideas?

    Best,

    Falko

    Hello Falko,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

The images for payments on the front-end can be changed in /wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/public/img/payments/icons/ and /wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/public/img/payments/ folders. Keep in mind that the size of images need to stay the same, along with the name of the image file. Also, until we include this as a customization option in Amelia/Customize, you will need to do this every time the plugin updates.

As for the text below icons, it is possible to change this now, but it's not a perfect solution.

You need to go to ameliabooking/public/js/chunks/ folder and open the file that looks like this:

    amelia-booking-booking-e699bcfa2244b52e0818.js

The hash may be different, so if it's not "e699bcfa2244b52e0818" it is something else, it's important to look for amelia-booking-booking-hash.js

When you edit this file, look for "On-Site", "Paypal", "Stripe", "Online" (case sensitive), and you'll see this:

    case"paypal":return"Paypal";case"stripe":return"Stripe";case"onsite":return"On-Site";case"mollie":return"Online"

You can change all values in quotations, after "return" and it will change on the front-end, so for example, change:

    return"On-Site"

    To:

    return"Invoice"

And so on. Our developers are working on a more elegant solution, but at this time, it's the best one we can offer.

The file I told you to modify is the step-by-step [ameliabooking] form, so if you're using [ameliacatalog], you'd need to change a different file (same folder, only amelia-booking-catalog-hash.js).

    Hi Milos,

thank you very much for the feedback. I will probably wait until you have released an update. The term "On Site" is not common in Germany.
The photos I take can be tax deductible as long as you have an invoice. In this respect, it is very important for me that the payment process indicates that you get an invoice. I think if customers are unsure here, they prefer to book somewhere else where it is clear that you get an invoice. Do you already know when your next update will be released?
Are you planning to synchronize with tax software like Sevdesk? That would be great.

    Best,

    Falko

    Hi, Falko

I sincerely apologise, as i understand your situation,

but we are not able to promise if our developers will successfully implement an invoice feature.

They will certainly start working on it soon, but various unpredictable factors can happen which postpone development, so i can't say an ETA on it, sadly. We are hoping it will be in the next several months.

You can always periodically check our change Log at this page - our devs post any small or big changes they make.

    - Regarding Sevdesk or similar tax software, we don't have anything like that planned yet, but we always put great value on any suggestion our users make, and feedback.

I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this page.

Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
