Is there a way for people to be able to book, say, 5 services in one category as a package?
So I create a package which allows users to book 5 services from 'health', which means they can book 1 massage, 2 acupuncture, and 2 spa days, or 4 massages and 1 spa day. It should allow for a maximum of 5 services for anyone category.
At the moment with packages I see I can make a package for, say, 5 spa days, and they can book for each of these spa days. If I wanted them to be able to choose between any 5 services, however, I can only say 5 spa days, 5 massages 5 acupuncture, which means they'll get 15 in total, which isn't correct.
With the latest version of Amelia, it is possible to achieve something very similar. When you create a package and add services to that package, you will be able to choose how many appointments for which service you offer to clients.
The issue I'm having is that if I wanted to offer a package which allows a user to book 5 services from one category, it wouldn't be possible.
If I set each service to allow 5 bookings, and there were 4 services, overall they would be able to book each service 5 times, which would be 20 bookings.
I'd like to allow the user to book 5 sessions in total, from any of the services available.
If I understood correctly, you wish to set the total of appointments in the entire package to be 5?
And the customer can choose any of the 4 services, and they can combine as they wish, for example, 2 from the first service, 2 from the second, and one from the third service, and as soon as the Package reaches 5 Appointments in Total, it would limit the customer there?
If so, at this time, unfortunately, something like that is not possible to do. You can only limit each service individually as to how many appointments they can have.
Our developers might add this feature to count the Total appointments in the Package, as you described.
Please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page, and see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and it will be forwarded to our management for review.
After it's been reviewed it will be presented on the front page, for voting. Please note that it may take some time before your suggestion is brought up for voting since we receive quite a lot of suggestions on daily basis.
