Hello
I use the wpDataTables and the Master Detail Plugin from you. I would like to add or edit a field with a predefined value from another table. Specifically, I want to use values from another table for a single-value selectbox. It is also possible that I combine them in a view if this is necessary.
Is this possible to do?
Hi, Daniel Moser
Thanks for reaching out to us
- Yes, you can use our Foreign Key feature, to create relations between tables, and pull values from another table's column.
Could you take a look at this Documentation with an example and a video on the following link and let me know if that helps?
https://wpdatatables.com/documentation/front-end-editing/configuring-table-relations-foreign-key/
- I am not sure if I fully understand when you say "combine them in a view", if you could explain this in more detail, please?
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović
