We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi,
We are using your excellent product. We have a question. When the data is updated on our external site, we have a link to that via wpDataTables, the data isn't updated on the webpage (related URL above).
Have I missed something that will enable the auto-update of the table on our main site, or is this a facility of the PRO version of your plugin?
Thanks
Steve Kitchener
Hi, Stephen
Thanks for reaching out to us, and thank you very much for the kind words.
- The table should update the data when linked to the source file, or in your case, XML data...
but you have to refresh the output page to see the updated data....
But if i understand, you mean that you need the table to auto-refresh the page periodically?
- The auto-refresh feature is only available for server-side table types. ( Such as Manual, SQL query based, or imported tables)
You have an XML-linked table here, so these types of tables are not able to do that if that makes sense?
- For example, you would have to import this data, first to convert it to something like Excel, Google Spreadsheet or CSV file.
Then, you can import the data to create a table in the WP database.... More details about that here.
then the table will become editable, and you can switch server-side functionality ON, and the auto-refresh feature will be available, but you will lose the link/synchronization with the source file.
- Please let me know if anything was not clear or you have more questions. Thanks.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović
