Thank you for purchasing Amelia, and for reaching out to us.
Amelia itself doesn't handle the payments but we have integration with several payment systems such as: PayPal, Mollie, Stripe and WooCommerce.
What you want is possible to do with WooCommerce products for different services. By default, all services are connected to one WooCommerce product, but if you create multiple products you will be able to choose a product that will be connected to each service.
Once you enable WooCommerce as a payment method, go to the Services page, open one of the services and you will see a Settings tab. When you choose this tab you will see the option “Select WooCommerce product” where you can choose a product that will be connected to this service.
This way, you will be able to set different taxes and other WooCommerce options for each product and each service in Amelia.
Or you can just write the price with tax included and insert (Tax incl.) On behalf of the service.
If you have any more questions please feel to open another ticket.
Wow that's really surprising Marko, I would have thought that Amelia would have the option to add any sort of tax as an add on to the base price, considering the legal tax requirements around the globe. It doesn't really make sense why you have a base price and total price if they are the same.
We will be integrating with PayPal , so is there no other workarounds other than including the GST in the base price?
Also, can this be added in? I would anticipate that it would be useful for a lot of people.
Unfortunately, there is no other workaround. We understand your point of view and I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this page.
Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
It cat be added now but hopefully, it will be implemented in the future but we cannot make any promises.
If you have any more questions please feel free to open another ticket.
How do we add GST (Goods and Services Tax) to a booking form for both events and services?
