The 3rd party software that we integrated for exporting tables in excel does not support the European number format. It only works if numbers contain both dot and comma in number. Here is the reference.
If you could change the number format, in the plugin settings ( and in the database where the data is stored):
then you could use the Excel export without issues.
For this example I made some float columns :
and here is the Excel export, as you see, for this number format it has no issues :
- Another important point is that you have to make sure that in the database where the data is stored, and in the plugin settings, it has to be the same number format.
- So, if you are not able to use the other number format or change column to a string type, or use CSV as export,
I am sincerely sorry, but there is nothing else we can do from our end.
Our developers have a plan to improve the Table Tools functionalities in the future, but we don't have an ETA on when they will work on that.
- If you need a different solution at this moment,
you could reach out to someone who does quality custom solutions like WP Kraken, but we can't advise on their pricing.
Hi Support,
When we download the price list via Excel via https://seomarketingdeals.com/diensten-linklijst/, the price column is not correct.
4,900
14,900
17,500
23,500
27,500
59,900
And if we do the csv it is fine "49.00",
What can we do about this?
Hi, Rik
Thanks for reaching out to us.
- This issue has been covered in the other ticket you previously created - https://tmsplugins.ticksy.com/ticket/2793136/
We have added this into our documentation to further point out the limitation that our Table Tools Excel export functionality has. This is a screenshot from our Documentation page - https://wpdatatables.com/documentation/table-features/table-tools/
