Hi, I have a question before purchasing Powerful Filters
It's related to Hide Table feature
1. Can the search field be placed above? to replace filters (dropdowns, checkboxes) 2. If it is possible, can we display the filters (dropdown, checkbox) after the search results from the search field appear?
Thank you for expressing interest in purchasing the wpDataTables plugin.
1. This global search field is placed right above the table, and at this time, we don't have a way of changing its position to be outside of the table, and its visibility is also linked with the table.
2. The only alternative I tried to do is, possibly to choose one of the columns, change its displayed filter name, and place it visible.
Then, after something is typed in as a search, to reveal the table. But, this is not going to achieve what you need, because, if you do this, you would have to hide all the other filters.
I am sincerely sorry to disappoint you, but what you need is not possible to achieve using any plugin's built-in functionalities.
As more customers request a feature, it gets pushed quicker on the list. We always strive to make our product better and deliver the most value to our end users, so we carefully review each suggestion.
It probably can be done with some custom work, but our developers are very busy at the moment, working on some priority tasks and fixing bugs and issues with our plugins, so they won't be having the time for custom work in the near future.
But we can recommend this service for customization:

You can suggest this as a built-in feature on this link https://wpdatatables.com/documentation/feature-suggestion/ and our developers would place it on their "TO-DO" list.
