I have a made new wbsite on a different server, and want to copy it to my existing domain, im worried that when i copy the new site over i will lose my existing amelia data like events and people that already registered. s there a export funtion to save that data and then later import it. How should i do this update and not lost my existing data
Hello Robert,
Thank you for purchasing our product, and for reaching out to us.
You will need to migrate the data by yourself. The best advice that we can give you is that when you are moving data is to use some Plugin Duplicator.
Most people on WordPress use this way and it's working fine because it will transfer all the files and also the tables to the database. You will need to find some duplicator plugin like you have find Amelia and see how it works and use it to transfer the data.
If you have any more questions please feel free to open another ticket.
Kind Regards,
Marko Davidovic [email protected]
