    Hi there,

We have a few issues after the last update of Amelia.

    1. Booking widgets for some of our employees are greyed out (not able to be booked). For some other employees, with the exact same settings for the same type of service the booking widget is working fine. This has happened in the past after an update.

    2. Divi integration does not work anymore. There are no divi modules for Amelia and any booking widget that was created with divi has turned to just code on the frontend.

Our current installed version is 4.4.1. On one of our staging sites we have version 4.3.1 and everything is working properly.

It seems that a few things may have broken with the latest release. Right now our biggest issue is the booking widgets for some employees not allowing for booking. Everything is greyed out.

    Please advise.

    Hello Jason,

Thank you for purchasing our product, and for reaching out to us.

Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.

We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.

    Kind Regards,

    Marko Davidovic

    Hey Jason

    1. From what I understand, the dates are grayed out and crossed out for some employees, correct?

    Please check these points:

    a. Are these services visible on the site?

    9142153063.png

    b. If they are, is the employee assigned to these services?

    c. If he is, check his working hours. Working hours where services are defined in the intervals will only show the services defined in there. Make sure these two services are also included:

    4053371065.png

In the example above, the employee is assigned to 3 services, but 2 newly added services are not automatically assigned to the employee's working hours, even though they may be assigned to him/her in the Assigned Services tab. If you want the employee to work on all services that you have, you should clear this selection, and every new service will be added automatically.

    d. Did you assign the employee to another location? If you did, please go to Amelia/Locations, and make sure that the location is visible.

    e. Check the shortcode on the front-end - if you (for example) used [ameliabooking category=1], and you added the service to Category with ID: 2, the new service from category 2 will not appear in the front-end.

I can't find any booking pages on the front-end, so could you please point me to one of the booking pages (if they require an account, would you be able to provide me with one, so that I can see the form)? I would be able to inspect the booking page, and hopefully see what's missing in the console.

    2. We've tested Divi before we released the new version, and it does work, but we've been having some issues with Divi integration for a few months now. It's rewriting our shortcodes and I guess that's why it's not working. Unfortunately, I can't say exactly what causes the blocks not to appear until I inspect the pages where the blocks are supposed to be. Even when I do that, I'd most likely need remote access, like Marko requested the other day, to inspect and debug the plugin and see what's causing the issue.

It'd be best if you could create a staging site where the behavior is replicated (with v4.4.1), so our developers can debug it and see what's going on.

    Kind Regards,

Thanks for picking up this ticket, Aleksandar!

So, we haven't made any changes to the services, available hours, or visibility, and we don't have multiple locations. We saw this happen once before, where the dates were greyed out.  In that instance, the calendars were actually showing open slots exactly 30 days in the future, although we have it set so that you aren't suppose to schedule more than 30 days in the future.  By the time I got around to opening a ticket, a couple days went by, the problem seemed to have fixed itself.  Likely, an issue was caught by someone else and a quick fix done.

This time, everything is blocked off and you can't schedule any time in the future despite backend settings.

We also only use a scheduling calendar view on each coach's page, so there aren't any particular booking pages, rather we had placed shortcodes on each coach's page to display only their calendar for the ONE service.  A simple inquiry call.

Also, on the our older coach's pages, which we did before the Amelia blocks were available, we simply placed the shortcode in a text box.  Those are the ones now displaying greyed out dates.  For newer coaches, we had used the Amelia blocks, but last week when we discovered the issue, those blocks were displaying on the live site as code... [divi_booking] and then a string of error codes.  So in our attempt to correct this, we noticed the blocks were no longer available in the builder and we changed them back to text boxes so the website didn't appear to be broken.

What's even more odd is...all of the coaches calendar are greyed this way EXCEPT mine.  Which is not coded any differently.

Here is my page that works fine:  https://changeyourlife.fit/trainer-jason-long/

Here is another coach's page that doesn't work:  https://changeyourlife.fit/trainer-ian-butler/

Lastly, we had two staging sites in the works for a couple updates we are doing and we tested this issue a couple different ways on both of them.  One site, Divi and Amelia are fully updated and the shortcodes display the same greyed out calendars.  The other staging site has fully updated Amelia but Divi is only updated to 4.13.1 and the calendars all show correctly.  We are unable to update Divi on our LIVE site right now because of a conflict with the child theme, but this testing shows that even with updated Divi and Amelia the calendars don't work.

Unfortunately, we had to trash both the staging sites because of a server issue so I don't have a complete working staging site to give access to right now.  We are working on getting this back up since we are working on an updated website set to release in a few weeks.

But it appears no matter what we do in terms of versions of Divi, the problem still exists but completely random.  A live site with outdated Divi and updated Amelia doesn't work. A staging site set the same way works just fine. But a fully updated staging site that doesn't work properly?

Let me know what you think.  And if you are going to need access to a staging site, we'll have to work on that next week once we get our SiteGround issue resolved.

By the way...any suggestions for an alternative to SiteGround?  We're having a TON of issues with them!  I'm considering switching to a cloud account with Hostinger.  Thoughts?

    Hey Jason

Firstly, I gotta tell you that I don't see these two pages (see attached screenshots). So I can't inspect the pages and see if there are any issues in the console.

As for the other ticket (when you previously experienced an issue with 30-days in the future) we didn't do anything to fix it. Even if the ticket was picked up by an agent who wasn't assigned to the ticket originally, they would've responded and informed you what the issue was.

This is definitely related to some settings in Amelia or, if you have an integration with Google or Outlook Calendars, the busy dates are being pulled from there. I can't say without taking a look, though.

Our developers are tackling Divi and I hope all issues with it will be fixed soon.

As for SiteGround - you can try GoDaddy, Hostinger, HostGator. I had the impression that SiteGround is also great, but here you are saying that you've been having a lot of issues with themsmile.pngSo, I can't be sure anymore.

Remember to enable the PRIVATE response, if you're going to be sharing the credentials with me.

    Hey Jason

I can't actually test the Zoom with multiple users since that requires a premium account and I don't have that. Our developers do have a premium account and they tested this.

It seems that licensed Zoom users aren't being reassigned, but regular Zoom users do. No idea why this happens, but they pulled the task back into their "to-do" list, so we're now waiting for our lead developer to get back from vacation to see how this should be approached.

The only way you can display only one event on a page, or specific events only, would be to add a tag to these events. For example "tag1", and then use the shortcode [ameliaevents tag='tag1'].
